Privacy Policy
Version dated July 28, 2026
The Jingly app creates personal songs. The first song is free, the rest are available by subscription.
This page explains what information we collect, how we use it and to whom we disclose it if you decide to use the Service.
By starting to use the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. What we collect is used only to provide and improve the Service. We do not use or pass your information to anyone except in the cases described here.
Terms in this policy have the same meaning as in the Terms of Use unless defined otherwise here.
Collection and use of information
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to installation identifier, the text you enter about the hero of the song, subscription information, usage events and crash reports, a hash of the IP address, Apple DeviceCheck. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
Sharing with artificial intelligence
The lyrics, the music and the cover art are created by an external generative AI provider. What is sent to it is a short description assembled from what you entered: the hero’s name, the occasion, the genre and a few details — no more than 200 characters. The installation identifier, subscription information and history are not sent to it.
Sharing happens only with your consent. Consent is requested before the first generation and can be withdrawn at any moment in the app settings with the “Sending data to AI” toggle. After withdrawal you will not be able to create a new song — without sharing there is no one to write it — while the songs already created stay with you.
Third-party services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information which makes it possible to identify you. Links to their privacy policies:
Log data
When the Service is used, and also when errors occur in the app, we collect log data — including through third-party products. It may include the device model, the operating system version, the app version and configuration, the time of the request, a technical description of the error and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that websites store on a device as anonymous identifiers.
The app does not use cookies. That said, third-party libraries inside the app may use their own storage mechanisms for their own purposes; these can be managed with the tools of the operating system.
Service providers
We engage third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:
- to keep the Service running;
- to provide the Service on our behalf;
- to perform tasks related to the Service;
- to analyze how the Service is used.
These third parties get access to your information — only in order to perform the tasks assigned to them. They are obliged not to disclose it and not to use it for any other purpose. We do not sell your information and do not pass it on for anyone else’s advertising. We disclose it if the law requires this, or if it is necessary in order to establish or defend our rights.
Your rights
In the app you can:
- delete any song — in the library;
- delete all your data — in settings, the “Delete my data” item. This deletes the installation identifier, all songs and files, the generation history and related records. The action is irreversible;
- withdraw consent to sharing text with AI and to analytics — in settings;
- turn off notifications — in the device settings.
If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights to access your information, to have it rectified, to restrict processing, to object to processing and to data portability. Write to support@jingly.app — we will answer within 30 days. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country.
Security
We value your trust and apply commercially acceptable means of protection: the connection to our servers is always encrypted, the installation identifier is kept in the secure storage of the operating system, and IP addresses are not stored in any form other than an irreversible hash with a secret key.
Links to other sites
The Service may contain links to other sites. Following such a link takes you to a third-party resource that we do not run. We strongly advise you to read the privacy policy of such a site: we do not control the content, policies and practices of third-party sites and services and are not responsible for them.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not addressed to people under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information of children under 13. If we learn that such a child has passed personal information to us, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has passed their information to us, contact us — we will take the necessary steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update the policy from time to time. We advise you to look through this page periodically. We will announce significant changes in the app before they take effect; the date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page.
